Hi there! I’m Hanbin Zhou, currently a M.Sc. student at the University of Southern California. I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Haipeng Luo, who introduced me to the world of learning theory.

My research interests generally lie in designing practical and adaptive machine learning algorithms with strong theoretical guarantees, especially in online/reinforcement learning under adversarial/multi-agent environments.

One might find my github username somewhat obscure, it basically stands for

where $\text{HZ}$ is the abbreviation of my hometown Hangzhou, $\text{Z}$ is the initial of my surname and $\text{HUGHES}$ is my English name.
